The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2 starting from February 1, 2026. This session grants a second opportunity for aspirants to improve their scores or for new candidates to appear for the first time.
Session 2 Registration Details
The application window is open for a limited time. Candidates must complete their registration before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.

- • Submission Deadline: 25 February 2026 (up to 09:00 PM)
- • Fee Payment Deadline: 25 February 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
- • Exam Dates: 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, and 09 April 2026 (Tentative)
How to Apply?
- Existing Candidates (Session 1): Can log in with their Session 1 Application Number and Password. They only need to choose the paper, medium, State code of eligibility, cities for Session 2, and pay the examination fees.
- New Candidates: Must register afresh using their basic details and generate a new Application Number.
Admit Card & Result Expectations
The City Intimation Slip is expected to be released by the second week of March 2026, while Admit Cards will typically be available for download 3-4 days before the actual date of examination (approx. March 30, 2026).
The NTA plans to declare the results for Session 2 tentatively by April 12, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2024, 2025, or are appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2026. There is no age limit for the candidates.
